A mouth watering contest looms between Zone A leaders and defending champions Barbican FC (who lead on goal difference) and Waterhouse FC in the Sherwin Williams Women’s Football League. Both teams have won their three games played so far and will be looking to lay down a serious marker as they hunt a spot in the midseason finals.

Defending champions Barbican FC and Waterhouse FC put some daylight between themselves and Arnett Gardens in Zone A of the Sherwin Williams Women’s Football league after match day four on Wednesday.
Both teams are locked on 9 points after three wins following away victories in midweek. Barbican were given a scare at the Racing Oval when former champions Portmore Strikers took the lead four minutes before half time through Kay Ann West to go in 1-0 at the break.

Having qualified from the CFU Championships Waterhouse FC headed to Panama to play in the first round of the CONCACAF Champions League which began on Tuesday August 5th with four games.
