Portmore United, led by coach Ricardo Gardner, has been one of the more prolific teams in the Jamaica Premier League since its inception.

In their previous game against Molynes United, they struggled to score in regular time and managed to clinch a one-nil win with a Damano Solomon goal in the 96th minute.

Currently, fourth in the table after two wins and a loss from their first three games, a win today over Tivoli Gardens FC.will see them return to the top of the table.

In the two games that Tivoli Garden has played so far, they have won once and drawn once. At the moment, the team is in sixth place on the table. For them to remain competitive, they need to win their next game.

In their last match against Arnett Gardens FC, Tivoli Gardens had seven shots on goal, but only Delroy Grey converted on it. Thus far, the team has scored only one goal in the tournament. During the last game, coach Phillip Williams explained that his forwards were not producing, therefore making changes was both crucial and tactical.

Tivoli and Portmore are long-time rivals, so both teams will take advantage of the opportunity to impress the viewers. Since both teams have attractive styles of play, when these two teams usually meet, it is always an exciting match.

Coach Williams will seek their second victory to move up the table after resting for one week. The final game of week four will be played today at 3: 30 pm at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence in Kingston.
