Dunbeholden FC and Molynes United FC will face each other in what can already be considered a must win game for both teams in the feature game of the Jamaica Premier League today.

Both teams are mired near the foot of the table and must start picking up wins, beginning today. Both teams have changed coaches since the start of the season and will be looking to start heading in the right direction soon.

Dunbeholden have played four matches so far, losing three and winning one which was the first game in charge for new coach Harold Thomas.

The new coach bounce lasted only one game, as after a 1-0 win over Cavalier in match week three, Dunbeholden suffered yet another defeat, when they went 0-2 to Harbour View last time out.

Dunbeholden boast one of the most experienced squad in the competition and will need their best players to start producing the goods if they are to escape the mire and drag themselves into contention for a playoff spot.

Nickoy Christian was immense in their only win so far this term and will need to produce more of those types of performances for the St. Catherine based team.

“There is a lot of work to be done in terms of fitness,” Thomas admitted after the last game.

It has not yet reached crisis proportions for Dunbeholden FC but a win on Saturday will ease some of the pressure off the club, that had ambitions of playoff football ahead of the start of the season.

Anthony Patrick has been in the Molynes United hot seat for just one game, a pulsating 2-2 draw with Mount Pleasant FA last Sunday. Molynes had taken the lead after just four minutes through vice-captain Nicholas Nelson, but they were pegged back by two quick fire goals from Mount Pleasant just after half time.

However, a goal from Sergeni Frankson three minutes from time, earned Patrick a point in his first game.

Patrick moved captain Jermey Nelson out of midfield and into attack and dropped Fakibi Farquharson into a midfield role against Mount Pleasant. The move seemed to pay dividends as it was a Farquharson pass into Jermy whose flick on to his brother Nicholas that led to the first Molynes United goal.

More tactical changes can be expected as Patrick gets more familiar with his squad as he tries to engineer a Houdini act. Tyrique Wilson had a big game in midfield against Mount Pleasant and more of those will be just what the doctor has ordered.

Molynes United are one of only two teams yet to register a win this term and victory on Saturday would be enough to take them mid-table, if only for the time being.

Both teams have motivation enough to go for the win which should make this a fairly entertaining game.
