The Jamaica Netball team, affectionately called the Sunshine Girls began their hunt for a top three finish in the Commonwealth Games with a resounding 88-24 win over minnows St. Lucia on day one of the netball competition.

KINGSTON, JAMAICA July 2, 2014: Netball Jamaica is pleased to announce the Team which will represent Jamaica at the 2014 Commonwealth Games scheduled for Glasgow Scotland from July 23 to August 3.

Following months of intense training the 12 players plus 2 reserves have been selected from an original squad of 21 to represent Jamaica at the Games.
