Extra time goals from Emile Smith-Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang helped Arsenal see off a dogged Newcastle 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium as they began their title defense of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Arsenal ended their seven-match winless run in the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Alexandre Lacazette put them ahead from the penalty spot, before Granit Xhaka scored a stunning free-kick. Bukayo Saka then added a third with a sweet right footed strike that may have been an attempted cross.

Arsenal suffers yet another defeat on Sunday, going down 2-1 game to Wolves at home. The Gunners have now won only one of their last six Premier League games and only four of their opening ten games. They have thirteen points (13 pts) and currently sits in the bottom half the table in fourteenth place.
