After the dust had settled on the quarterfinal matches of the FA Cup, the final four for the semifinals were decided leaving two mouth-watering clashes for fans to enjoy as Chelsea will face Manchester City and Leicester will go up against Southampton at Wimbledon.

Three all premier league matchups will highlight the quarterfinal round of the Emirates FA Cup after the draw for the last eight was completed on Thursday.

Bottom of the table, Sheffield United stunned Manchester United 2-1 last Wednesday putting a severe dent in the title hopes of the former champions. Goals from Kean Bryan and substitute Oliver Burke helped secure a rare win for Sheffield United this season as United's indifferent home form continued. United captain, Harry Maguire got the consolation goal for the hosts.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer secured his first win against Liverpool in his managerial career when Manchester United ran out 3-2 winners over Liverpool in the FA Cup’s fourth round on Sunday. Left on the bench at the start of the game, United's talisman, Bruno Fernandes came up with a late winner to send the Red Devils into the last sixteen.

Manchester United climbed to the summit of the English Premier League for the first time since August 2018 with a hard fought 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday.

Paul Pogba's magnificent second-half strike was the difference as United secured the result their dominance deserved, with the 1-0 triumph taking them three points clear of rivals Liverpool, heading into Sunday's mouth-watering Anfield encounter.

Second place Manchester United have the chance to go top of the premier league over rivals Liverpool today, should they avoid defeat against Burnley is a rescheduled fixture from the opening weekend of the season.

The fixture was originally rescheduled due to European commitments that extended United’s 2019-2020 season.
