A stroke filled century from T-20’s most exciting player, Andre Russell, led the Jamaica Tallawahs to the final of the HERO Caribbean Premier League T-20 Final last night when they defeated the Trinbago Knight Riders by 19 runs (by the Duckworth Lewis method).

Ruseell scored 44 runs to help guide the Tallawahs to 158/7 before returning to claim four wickets as the Trinbago Knight Riders were restricted to 139/8 from their 20 overs.

Guyana Amazon Warriors stayed unbeaten in the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after defeating the Jamaica Tallawahs at home at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana on Thursday night.

The Warriors won the toss and chose to field on a wicket that was slow and better for bowling. TheTallawahs could only manage 100 runs as they were bundled out in 18 overs and The Warriors got to the target in 18 overs with 7 wicket remaining (101/3).

Foska Oats has stayed on board with the Jamaica Tallawahs for the fourth edition of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The news was announced at a breakfast/brunch for the players and coaches held at the Melbourne Cricket Club on Tuesday.

“Our team is gearing up for another eventful season of fueling our Jamaica Tallawahs. We look forward to interacting with the players as well as energizing our fellow Jamaicans to push this team to victory”, stated the excited Director of Operations of Caribbean Foods Limited, Mr. Christopher Ramson.
