A never ending beef

It is not surprising that one of the most watched and glamorous sports in the world produced a rivalry with all the elements to make it the key component of a Hollywood movie. It’s not difficult to see why either – in the space of a few years the story saw friends turned into bitter enemies and there is never a 'kiss and make up' to end the rivalry.

Arsenal were left dumbfounded at Hillsborough after a thumping 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup. Ross Wallace, Lucas Joao and Sam Hutchinson ensured Sheffield Wednesday reached the quarter finals with three sumptuous goals, two in the first half and one six minutes after the restart.

Arsene Wenger saw his team’s eight year unbeaten run against West Ham snapped on Sunday as they endured a nightmarish start to the Barclays Premier League, beaten 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in front of their bewildered supporters.

Jesus said in a parable "The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone" in Psalms 118 verse 22. This was clearly demonstrated by Arsene Wenger last weekend, after signing Peter Chec over the summer he was instrumental in breaking the 13 winless drought against Chec's old boss Jose Mourinho. A superb strike from Ox-laid Chamberlain was enough to allow Arsene Wenger for the first time ever, to claim victory over Jose Mourinho after amazingly trying for 14 times! Never say never!

Arsenal May not be in the top four currently in the English Premier League, but they are certainly clawing their way back to the top. Since the exit of players like Patrick Viera, Theiry Henry, Robert Pirez, Tony Adams and David Seaman, Arsenal has not managed to look the same. Last season was the closest they got to lifting the coveted title again by introducing Mezut Ozil, Santi Carzola, and Lucas Poldolski.
