Cavalier SC Assistant coach David Lalor insists that his youung team can get the job done at Harbour View on Monday Night despite missing captain Chevone Marsh and the skilful Alex Marshall who are away on internationl duty with the Reggae Boyz.

 

 

 

Ten days after playing out a 0-0 draw at the Barbican football field Boys Town FC and Montego Bay United will face each again at the same venue. Boys Town won the first meeting of the season between these two teams in the first round and have taken four points off the former champions so far this season.

Waterhouse swapped places with Boys Town following a narrow 1-0 win in the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday via a Kemar Beckford 13th minute penalty, as they continued to ease their way to safety late in the season.

After struggling for the first half of the 2016-2017 Red Stripe Premier League season, Boys Town FC and Waterhouse FC will both be heading to the transfer market as soon as the window opens in order to strengthen their respective squads.

Both teams have struggled from the opening weeks of the season and are currently propping up the league after 17 games played of the 33 games regular season.

Things are shaping up pretty well for a few teams, especially those in the top half of the table while things are getting uncomfortable for the teams in the bottom third of the table as we head to round 20 of the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday 10th, January 2016.

In one of the early games Boys Town FC will be aiming to take maximum points at the expense of Waterhouse FC, when the two battle at the Barbican Stadium in a 3:00 kick off.

Cavalier SC enjoyed a comprehensive vic­tory in their first game of 2016 in the Red Stripe Premier League crushing Boys Town FC 3-0 on Sunday at the Stadium East Field.

After a pulsating 4-4 draw against strugglers Waterhouse FC in their final game of 2015 the appetite for scoring still lingered on the lips of the Cavaliers team. Jason Watson opened the scoring in the first half from the penalty spot before a superb strike from Cleon Pryce and an exquisite solo run from Aldaine Grant secured all there points for Rudolph Speid's men.

A 35th minute strike from Peter Keys was enough to settle the Collie Smith Drive Derby on Sunday as Boys Town exacted revenge on Arnett Gardens for the 4-0 thrashing they received in the first round of the Red Stripe Premier League, earlier this season.
