Former Reggae Boy and current Tivoli Gardens striker Jermaine “Teddy” Johnson was shot an injured some late this afternoon in the Tivoli Gardens community.

Johnson was among a group of three persons who were shot an injured in what was described as a drive by shooting.

All three persons were taken to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) where they were treated and are now said to be in stable condition.

Johnson who is now 40 years old, has 74 caps for Jamaica and scored 11 times for the country.  Johnson had his best spell in England play for Sheffield Wednesday FC.
