U20 Reggae Girlz advance to CFU tournament final

The Reigning champions Jamaica have booked a spot in the final of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women’s Under-20 Finals after squeezing past Puerto Rico on Wednesday at the Stade Sylvia Cator stadium.

The Hue Menzies coach squad was pushed all the way but managed to secure a 2-1 victory over their opponents.

They will now oppose host nation Haiti who got by Trinidad and Tobago 2-0 in the second semifinals, in the tournament final set for Friday, at 6 pm, preceded by the third place play-off between both beaten semifinalist at 4:30 pm.

The young Reggae Girlz along with their opponent in the final have both already advanced to the 2015 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championships, which will be hosted by Honduras from December 3-13 ,2015
