When Tivoli Gardens entertain Humble Lion at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex at 3:00pm today, they will be looking to build on their last win on the last match day of round one. An indifferent start to the season saw the West Kingston based team ended the first round in eighth place and they will be looking to push on at the start of the new round.

Tivoli coach Alvin Shaw will be hoping that the issues that plagued the club ahead of the start of the season are now far behind them and will be looking to gather as many points as possible in round two, starting today.

Shaw will be hoping that veterans such as Keammar “Dada” Daley, Rohan Reid and Navion Boyd will hit top form in this round and get them into the top four, from which they are just five points away.

Humble Lion struggled in the first round and despite showing good signs in some of their matches ended in the drop zone in 11th position, above Boys Town only and merely on goal difference.

Former Technical Director Craig Butler has left the club and Linval Wilson is now completely in charge of team preparations and selection. Wilson believes that his team finished the round strong enough despite some of the results not going their way and expects a much better second round.

Devon Hodges, the former national striker who joined the club at the start of the season from Rivoli United has now settled in and will be pivotal in their efforts to climb out of the relegation zone.

Based on the patchy form of both teams a similar score draw to match day one, may be a likely result today.
