Group B

The World Cup has always managed to provide sparks from as early as the group stages and Group B is viewed as one of the groups that is expected to provide not just sparks but most likley some kind of surprise. The group features back to back European Champions and defending World Cup Champions in Spain who has probably the most expensive, talented and versitile 23 man squad at the World cup. Then comes the Netherlands a team that has never won the the World Cup but took part in some three (3) finals most recently in 2010 where they lost to Spain.

Chile is the team most likely to cause an upset. They are playing with cofidence and seem very lethal up top with their strike pair from FC Barcelona Alexis Sanchez and the ever dangerious Arturo Vidal from (Juventus). Chile has the potential to create some kind of disruption in the big two and if form is anything to go by then the Chilians qualifed very comfertably for this years World Cup. They also knocked off some quality opponents in international friendlies and played very attractive football as well.

The least most dangerious team in the group is the Austrailians who would settle for a point as an achievement coming from this group.
