While Barcelona can boast of being the only unbeaten team in La Liga they will be acutely aware of the fact that they have not beaten Real in the league since December 2011 and with this being the Clasico debut for both managers neither man will want to lose. In fact, a win for either manager today will under line their pedigree in their new job.

Gerardo Martino is determined to keep Barcelona playing the same was as Pep Guardiola had them playing while Carlo Ancelotti will want to warm the heart of the Los Blancos faithful with a win that would see the teams draw level on points.

The world’s most expensive player, Gareth Bale will be missing through injury, however in Lionel Messi, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, there are enough stars to keep fans entertained for ninety minutes. This should be another blockbuster in the history of the meetings between the La Liga giants.
