 It was goals galore in Group Two of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women’s Under-17 Qualifying Tournament, when Trinidad &Tobago dismantled host US

Virgin Islands 13-0, at the Paul E. Joseph Stadium in St. Croix, USVI. 

The twin-island Republic’s domination of the game was led by Jahra Thomas, who scored in the 28th, 33rd, 67 and 74th minutes. Tamara Johnson scored in the 1st minute, Chelcy Ralph in the 25th, Khaline Jacobs in the 30th and 41st minutes, Dennecia Prince in the 57th, Chevonne John in the 52nd , and substitute Zoe Swift in the 85th and 86th minutes. 

An Own Goal was scored by Mayn Wright in the 8th minute. 

The second game in Sunday’s doubleheader, between Antigua & Barbuda and St. Kitts/Nevis, ended without a goal being scored. 

Eleven countries are competing for the six places available to the two top teams from each Group. These teams will subsequently advance to the CFU Finals, from which three teams will qualify for the CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Finals.
