Mount Pleasant suffered their loss of the season in the Jamaica Premier League last weeekend when they went down 0-2 to Harbour View FC. No time after the club announced the departure of Coach Paul Tegat Davis after he had served the club for four years. Mount Pleasant will play their first game under the direction of Technical Director Wally Downes on Sunday.

Similarly, Molynes United FC, who has only managed to earn one point from two games so far this season, has had a change of head coach after they brought in Anthony Patrick, while things are unclear as to whether or not Calvert Fitzgerald is still at the club.

Molynes United are yet to score in the league and Patrick will be hoping to get his new team scoring goals and earning points against a Mount Pleasant team who has had an indifferent start to the campaign with one win, one draw and one loss from three games.

With both coaches having new and clear mandates it will be interesting to see how the team set about going after three points today.

Mount Pleasant were one of the teams tipped to go all the way this season, but after an unimpresssive start to the campaign are in trouble of being counted among the also-ran.

Downs will be hoping to getting his players mentally up for the challenge of getting themselves back in the thick of things with a win over the unsettled Molynes United, with a coach unfamiliar with his charges.

Mount Pleasant players are not afraid to take shots, as shown in their last match against Harbour View when they had 13 shots, three of which were on target, and dominated ball possession. Molynes, though underperforming, are a resilient team that Mount Pleasant must not take for granted if they are to win today. Molynes proved to be a tough opponent, but ultimately lost 1 nil in extra time to Portmore United.

Mount Pleasant start the match week in seventh place with an eye on closing the gap on the top four, while Molynes, who are in eighth position, will be desperately vying for their first win.
