Despite not scoring in their opening game against Tivoli Gardens, Mount Pleasant FA proved that they have the skill and potential when they secured their first win of the season against Humble Lions F.C.

After his teammates missed two penalties in that game, Francois Swaby converted from inside the box to secure a 1-0 victory in match week two.

When Mount Pleasant host Harbour View today, they will be hoping to secure their second win of the season and go clear of a congest pack at the top of the premier league. Tactical changes as well as personel changes led to a win last time out which means that a smilar team and a similar strategy could be emplyed today by head coach Paul Davis.

Harbour View F.C. have been one of the more dominant teams in the National Premier League for years. However, after two games, they have only achieved two draws so far in the competition. This weekend, Harbour View will be aiming to record their first win.

Harbour View will look to their midfield to press and score goals, and Aquasso Chong, who has scored both goals for his team this seasion is expected to continue to lead the line.

Lovel Palmer left the field late in the draw on Tuesday, with whay appeared to be a hamstring injury and could be an injury doubt for today with such a quick turnaround. Captain Ajeanie Talbott who has enjoyed a good partnership with Palmer, had a man of the match performance against Cavalier in midweek and may need a repeat of that if his team is to record their first clean sheet of the season.

When the two teams meet today, Mount Pleasant will be looking to maintain their unbeaten record. Leonardo Rankine and Kemar Beckford will look to improve after failing to convert penalties and, while Swaby will be looking to add more goals to his stats in the game against Harbour.

This match is the feature game of a double header at the Stadium East Field which is hosting its first games of the season . It is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 p.m.
