On Tuesday night Reggae Boy Maalique Foster became one of the latest victims of gun crime in Jamaica. He was among a group of men who were fired upon while playing dominoes in Southborough, Portmore, St. Catherine, where two men reportedly died.

While details are still sketchy, it is being reported that a lone gunman walked up to the group of men who were enjoying a game of dominoes and opened fired. A number of persons were hit, including Foster.

Foster represented Portmore United in the Premier League before he was sold to Costa Rican club Liga Deportiva Alajuelense two years ago. He played for Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in the Israeli Premier League last season, before being released.

A wily player, Foster has had nine caps for Jamaica while finding the back of the net four times.
