The Reggae Boyz, Michael Hector and Bobby Reid, will be plying their trader in the English Premier League (EPL) when the new season begins next month.

Both players are a part of the Fulham FC team that gained promotion to the top flight via the playoffs with a 2-1 win over Brentford on Tuesday.

The result of the match, which is dubbed “the richest game in football” as they will secure 170M , means Fulham return to the EPL after just one season in the Championship, while it was the 9th time that Brentford was failing to gain promotion via the playoffs, an unfortunate record for the team.

Fulham have club legend Scott Parker to thank for steering them back to the EPL, but on the night it was their left back Joe Bryan who was the hero, scoring both goals that set up their extra time victory at Wembley.

Hector was his usual sturdy self as he paired with Tim Ream at centre half and they only conceded a very late consolation goal in added time at the end of extra time. Reid did not feature on the night but has played his role during the season for the London club.

Parker who has loads of experience playing in the premier league and will know exactly what his players will face next term, said it had been an emotional journey for him in his debut season as manager for the team.

“I feel emotional. The journey you go on, the ups and downs, along with the disappointment. I’m the face who fronts up, but behind the scenes is a support network of people that keep you going in those times and those moments.”

Fulham join Leeds and West Bromwich Albion as the teams promoted to the EPL this season.
