Waterhouse FC talisman, Jermaine ‘Tuffy’ Anderson is set for a return to action very soon in the Red Stripe Premier League. The 37 year old has returned to training with the club and is hopeful of returning to the fray when the league resumes from its impromptu break, enforced by Hurricane Matthew.

Anderson, who was at the opening day of the Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Six-a-side football Competition in Waterhouse, told Yardie Sports that he is feeling good about his return to premier league football after ironing out all the issues with the club.

“I am ready to go now,” he assured. “I won’t be putting any pressure on myself to get the goals. It isn’t a one man show, everybody has to contribute. But I want to make the best of this season and hopefully we can start moving up the tables.”

Anderson was told that he was surplus to requirements at Waterhouse shortly before the start of the 2016-2017 season, but the club has since made an about face after a horrible start to the season. Club Chairman, Bruce Bicknell is reported to have made contact with the player regarding his return to the fold.

Waterhouse has lost all four games so far which sees them sitting at the bottom of the table in the twelve team league, scoring just once while conceding seven times.

The controversial striker will bring goals, strength and experience to a team that is desperate for something positive on the field of play.
