Shamar ‘Boza’ Nicholson is itching to get back on the field of play after the short Christmas break. The Red Stripe Premier League resumes on Sunday and the striker simply cannot wait to get back in the thick of things for his team, Boys Town FC.

The Andrew Price coached team has enjoyed their best start to a premier league season in years and are currently in 6th position, tied on 25 points with rivals Harbour View who sit in 5th position by virtue of goal difference.

Boys Town travels to the Stadium East Field to take on third from bottom Cavalier SC and if Nicholson is to have his way, then the home team will be in for a long night.

Writing on his facebook page, the ‘Young Player of the Year’ for last season said, “First game for di new year…at Stadium East #boystown vs #cavalier…time 5:00pm. (I) am well prepared for it. Shamar Boza Nicholson targeting a hat trick…”

The talented centre forward scores goals with both his head and feet and is a handful for most defenders in the league.

Nicholson has already scored 3 goals so far this season, including the game winner against Waterhouse FC on the day Boys Town celebrated their 75th Anniversary. A hat trick against Cavalier would see him double his season tally as his team continues their hunt for a semi-final spot in the RSPL.
