Scotiabank Hosts Breakfast to Officially Welcome Sunshine Girls Home

[Wednesday, August 26, 2015]Scotiabank took the lead to officially welcome home the Sunshine Girls after an exciting performance at the Netball World cup in Sydney Australia. The girls were hosted at a breakfast this morning, August 26, in the Marketing department at the Scotiabank Centre.

“Our Girls have proved themselves to be strong athletes” said Shelley Sykes Coley, Sponsorship Manager at Scotiabank, as she addressed the group. “Sunshine Girls, you make us so proud, congratulations on reaching the quarter finals. Job well done” she continued. She encouraged them tocontinue to work hard, stay strong and keep their heads up high.

Scotiabank has been involved in developmental netball programmes with Netball Jamaica since 2007 and have been instrumental working with the Under-16 and junior umpire programmes.
