Girvon Brown wants to start scoring again

Cavalier Soccer Club has been having a terrible run in the Red Stripe Premier League. Their Captain and striker Girvon Brown thinks he should be to blame for that since he had been getting goal scoring opportunities and just can’t find the back of the net of late. Brown and cavalier had a dream start in the league but they have really struggle in the last seven matches.

“We are playing good as a unit and have been getting the chances to score and even out score team but only have ourselves to blame for out poor finishing in front of goal. We miss three very important players in Oshane Jenkins, Chevon “Messi” Marsh and Claudius Blackburn and we still manage to match up to the teams but we just need to start scoring.”

Brown thinks they are still a title contender knowing that they just need to book a semi-final spot..

Brown who is a very good striker, has the talent to be a national player. He has the right attitude for a striker and accepts that this is his bad patch at the moment. Brown is a very influential player for Cavalier and they depend on him highly for goals each match.

Cavalier lost against Arnett Gardens at home on Wednesday in a very competitive game but the better side won on the day.

Cavalier did not produce plenty chances to score goals and against a very good defensive unit they were made work hard.

Cavaliers now in 8th place and will be looking to get back to winning ways soon.
