Leon Strickland has the golden touch for Arnett Gardens. When he isn’t scoring them he is giving his teammates the ball to put in the back of the net. .
Strickland has quickly become a fan favourite and the fans expect something from him each time he touches the ball. He had been doing well finding spaces when he is not on the ball.
He plays the attacking midfield role, where he gets to either pass the ball or makes his dangerous runs at defenders.
“First and foremost I have at thank the Lord for giving me strength. I am a very confident player at the moment and am enjoying my game. The most important think is my team is winning are we are playing good as a unit,” he said in an interview with Yardie Sports.
Strickland got the lone goal against Cavalier on Thursday to help extend his team’s unbeaten run to eight matches.
Strickland and Arnett Gardens will be looking to maintain their form and make sure they are one of the teams in the semifinals in order to contend for the Red Stripe Premier League title.
