For several months he has been linked with a move away from the Signal Iduna Park especially with German giants Bayern Munich hot on his trail. It was revealed by Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge that his release clause is €25 and becomes active next summer. Despite all the uncertainty surrounding his future, Marco Reus refused to pledge his allegiance to Borussia Dortmund for the future.

The 25 year old speedster took to his Facebook page to play down the speculation surrounding a move from the BVB next summer. He made it clear that he is only focused on the games ahead for Dortmund as well as the international break where he should be in line for a place in Germany’s squad.

He wrote, ‘There has been a lot of public speculation regarding my future lately. I want to take this opportunity to let you know that other people are worrying far more about my future than I do. The only thing I can say with certainty is that we’re on our way to Munich to win points for BVB – hopefully it’ll be three points we take back to Dortmund.’

He continued, ‘After that we have big games against Galatasaray, Borussia Monchengladbach, Paderborn and Arsenal. These games and the two upcoming internationals are all I’m focused on at the moment.’

Reus, who has recently returned from injury, move to Dortmund in the summer of 2012 from Borussia Monchengladbach. Since then, he has seen Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski join Bayern Munich and the Bavarians has made no secret of their desire to sign one of Germany’s top talents.

The speedy winger is not short of admirers with several top clubs across Europe interested in sealing his signature. He has been heavily linked with Liverpool in recent weeks but the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea are all monitoring his situation at the Signal Iduna Park.
