Defending Champions Holy Family Primary marched into the semi-finals of the Kingston leg of the Samsung Cup 2014 with a comprehensive 4-0 beating of Lannaman’s Prep at the University of Technology this morning.

Led by a brace from Justin Dunn and a goal each from Delroy Jones and Rojaughn Josephs, the champions continued relentless march to retain their title with a comfortable quarter-final victory.

McCauley’s Primary had an even bigger win in their quarter-final, disposing of Manchoneal Primary 5-1. Oshay Wright grabbed a hat-trick for his team, who will be making their first semi-final appearance. Tamiesh Richardson and Jahiem Reid were the other scorers for McCauley’s.

Quest Primary will be making their second consecutive semi-final appearance after they edge past Tavares Gardens 2-1. Rivaldo Mitchell named for the famous Brazilian football star and D’Andre Thenstead got the goals for Quest while Wothan Wilson got the consolation for Tavares Gardens.

The fourth semi-finalist will be Mona Prep who is making it further than their quarter final finish last year after they scored a narrow 1-0 win over Portsmouth Primary.

Holy Family go up against Quest in a repeat of last year’s Kingston final and Mona Prep tackle McCaulay’s Primary in the other semi-final at 1:00pm.
