UWI Pelicans captain Owen ‘Braddy’ Hill insists that his team are aiming to finish the season unbeaten after they scored yet another win in the KSAFA Super League last Saturday.

In the six games the UWI have played so far this season, they have scored four victories while drawing two games and have already assured themselves a place in the knock-out round of the competition.

Speaking with Yardie Sports after their latest win over Real Mona on Saturday, Hill said, “today’s result was very important considering a win secured a spot in the quarter finals from early and we have maintained our unbeaten run.

“The moral of the team is really high at the moment and implicitly, the belief is that we can win all our games and win the competition. But it isn’t being said at the moment. Right now we are taking it one game at a time as we look to win as many games as possible,” he concluded.

The Zone B leaders, UWI will take on second placed Mountain View at Excelsior as action resumes today. In other games in the zone fourth place Real Mona will host third place Shortwood at Buttercup Park while bottom of the table Greenwich Town hosts fourth placed Allman-Woodford at Tinson Pen.

In Zone A, leaders Barbican host third placed Rae Town, bottom of the table Police Nationals and second place Browns Town battle at Shortwood, while it is fourth versus fifth when Santos host Maxfield Park at Cling Cling Oval.
