Nervous times for netballers in JN Open League

Most of the participating teams in the Jamaica Netball Association/Jamaica National (JN) Sunshine Open League will have had a sleepless night, last night, as only one of the eight available quarter final spots was decided ahead of today’s last round of games.

Only the ‘Police’ will ‘rest easy’ as, Police ‘A’ has already won Group 3.

Job Lane United ‘A’ who have taken some big scalps already this season, including the likes of perennial champions Jamalco ‘A’, will battle another netball powerhouse, Waulgrovians ‘A’ in the first match of the day. The game is scheduled for 1:40pm and could likely set the tone for what is expected to be a fantastic day of netball at the Leila Robinson Courts.

A win for Rivoli ‘A’ over Jetsetters ‘B’ could see them winning their zone, however it is a win that they will have to work very hard for.

The other teams that will progress to the quarter finals will not know their fate until all the other games have been decided.
