Mourinho meet Pelligrini in massive Monday night game

After a round of midweek games that saw Chelsea not being able to score even Juan (one) goal to take advantage of Arsenal’s slip up vs Southampton, Juan Mata’s debut for Manchester united which saw him recording his first assist for Ashley Young’s goal which gave United a 2-0 win over Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s Cardiff side and Manchester City’s demolition style 5-1 win over Tottenham to put them in 1st place on the Barclay’s Premiere League tables comes another round of games. So here is the BPL preview for game week 24.

So here is the BPL preview for game week 24.

 

The early kickoffs on Saturday will see 8th placed Newcastle bolstered with their new on loan striker, Luuk de Jong raring to go will take on relegation threatened Sunderland at St. James Park whilst fellow strugglers West Ham will travel to Swansea for their match. 

 

The mid-morning (10:00 a.m.) games is Manchester United against Stoke City.  United is looking to move up the table with a win to a Stoke City side which is fighting for their survival while Cardiff who are still searching for their first win following 3 straight league defeats under new manager Solksjaer will play at home to Norwich looking to unleash new acquisitions Wilfried Zaha and Fabio to try and steer clear of the relegation zone. 

 

Tottenham will be looking to bounce back and show their pedigree after their midweek whipping when they face Hull City who have won just 1 of their last 10 premier league games.  Hull new signings NikicaJelavic and Shane long will be looking to make their debuts. Rene Mulensteens Fulham who have lost their last 3 league matches now sit 2 points adrift of safety, but with new signing William Kvist looking to make his debut, and deadline day signing Lewis Holtby who is unlikely to play Fulham will be looking to prevent their first home defeat against Southampton since 1947. 

 

The final game to be played on Saturday will see Everton who were brought crashing back down to earth in their 4-0 defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool in midweek, take on Aston Villa with a rejuvenated Christian Benteke at Goodison Park.

 

On Sunday Arsene Wenger’s stuttering Arsenal side will be hoping to recapture 1st place in the tables even if only for a day when they play Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium and relegation threatened West Brom will be playing at home to a free scoring Liverpool side who are looking to leapfrog Chelsea into 3rd place. The last match of game week 24 will be played on Monday at 3:00 p.m., when Manchester City faces Chelsea in a battle for 1st place in the tables.
