On Wednesday, January 22, 2014 and Thursday January 23, 2014 the quarter finals of this stellar competition takes the epicenter for football in the KSAFA.
An all Premier League affair awaits football lovers when they travel to Waterhouse Drewsland Stadium on Wednesday, January 22.
In what is expected to be a cracking double header at Drewsland Cavalier SC will go up against Tivoli Gardens FC at 5pm. Cavalier who has never won the Jackie Bell Knock Out must be fancying their chances to go all the way this year. In the second game at 7pm another Collie Smith Drive derby awaits patrons. Arnett Gardens FC, tied with defending champions Harbour View – six wins each, as the teams winning this competition the most is up against Boys Town.
The heat will not have subsided when on Thursday January 23 fans will be invited to decide between attending one of two ‘David versus Goliath’ games. Two KSAFA Super League Teams will seek to get the better of two KSAFA Premier League Teams. Barbican will go up against August Town at Barbican, and Harbour View against UWI game at Harbour View. Both games are scheduled for a 3:00 pm start.
For Barbican and UWI these games are rehearsals as both are expected to represent the KSAFA in the JFF all island knock out competition.
The prize monies for this year’s Jackie Bell Knockout Competition are as follows:
1st Champions,($350000); 2nd ($200000); 3rd ($150000) and 4th (100000).
