Jaded Lannamans clips Wolmers in Alberga Cup

A jaded looking Lannamans Prep defeated Wolmer’s Prep 1-0 on Monday November 25th, three days after beating the same team 3-0 in the Henriques Cup.

A jaded looking Lannamans Prep defeated Wolmer’s Prep 1-0 on Monday November 25th, three days after beating the same team 3-0 in the Henriques Cup.

The toll of playing four games in less than a week seemed to take the edge off the usually free flowing play of Lannaman’s as they failed to maintain the usual lion’s share of possession which helped to keep Wolmer’s in the game.

The 9th minute striker from Daquan Henry was enough to secure all three points for the semi-final hopefuls  on a forgetful day for their strikers who missed a myriad of chances. On another day the score-line could easily have read 6-0.

The Wolmer’s custodian also had a good game which helped to keep the score respectable as his team failed to offer much on the attacking side.
