Henriques Cup quarter finals on today at UWI Bowl

The Quarter final round of the Prep School Henriques Cup will be played today at the UWI Bowl starting at 11:00am.

The Quarter final round of the Prep School Henriques Cup will be played today at the UWI Bowl starting at 11:00am.

The Knock Out Competition which got underway on Wednesday, will see eight team battle for four semifinal spots, with defending champions Hydel looking like the team to beat again this year.

The opening game will see Emmanuel Christian Academy faced with the task of containing the very good Quest Prep who blew away St. Andrew Prep on Wednesday.

Preceding the 11:00am opener, will be the game between Vaz Prep and Hillel Prep at 12:30. This game will not be straight forward for either team and may be the most competitive one on the schedule. Hillel will however be aware that Vaz had a massive win over Alvernia in midweek and must come prepared to defend well.

The third game will see Lannamans Prep and Wolmers Prep go at it starting at 2:00pm before the defending champions Hydel, put their title on the line against Mona in the day’s final game.
