Special Olympics Football at UTECH

Special Olympics Cayman Football Team arrived in the island this morning to take part in the 6th staging of the Special Olympics Jamaica Football Tournament tomorrow, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the University of Technology playing field (UTECH).

Special Olympics Cayman Football Team arrived in the island this morning to take part in the 6th staging of the Special Olympics Jamaica Football Tournament tomorrow, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the University of Technology playing field (UTECH).

 All 14 parishes will be participating in this one day Football Extravaganza in the over 15, under 15 and skills competition.  The female Footballers will also be on show as from this competition the  Football Teams both male and female will be selected for the 2015  Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles.

The feature game at 2:30p.m. will see Bank of Nova Scotia Business House Team playing Special Olympics Unified Football Team.

Mr.Carl Brown, former National Football Coach of both Jamaica and Cayman will address the athletes at the opening ceremony scheduled for 10:30am on Saturday morning.
