On Friday November 8th, Block Aye of Chancellor Hall blew away Mafia of Irvine in the Sagicor/UWI Guild ChampionsLeague easing to a comfortable 7-1 win.

Making the most of the first half, Block Aye completely dominated the period, with striker Brandon Clarke being particularly harsh on the Irvinites, hitting four past them to quickly take the lead in the goal-scoring charts.

Interestingly enough, the consolation goal for Mafia which was scored by Odane Jackson in the second half, was probably the best goal of the game. Jackson strike from outside the box was a peach that would have beaten the best of goalkeepers on their best day.

The win has seen Block Aye progress to the quarter finals.
