Jermaine “Teddy” Johnson has express his feelings about his current interest in football on social networking site Facebook. Johnson who is the longest serving player at Championship team Sheffield Wednesday in England has said his love for the sport is slowing going away.

Johnson wrote on the popular site:

“Feeling drained. Don’t wanna be ungrateful to the most high for the precious gift that he’s giving to me. I’m slowly losing my love for the game of football, never thought I could feel this way about something that i’m so passionate about, really hope it’s just a one off feeling that I’m having now, still gonna stay positive and hope this feeling blow off real fast”.

Johnson friends on Facebook did try to encourage him – one person wrote ”when life gives you a hundred reasons to give up, show life you have a thousand reasons to keep going JJ Soon feel better”.

His recent utterances come as quite a surprise as he expressed a desire get back into the Jamaica national team as well as a possible return to England to play yet again.

The Tivoli Gardens player has been capped 74 times and scored nine goals for Jamaica in his career.
