The Jamaica Tallawahs and the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel face off in semifinal 1 of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2015, tomorrow at the Queens Park Oval at 5:00pm. Both teams have played each other twice already this season and have won a match piece in two tight contests.

The Red Steel, who beat the Tallawahs four days ago, will enter the match tomorrow match as favorites. The Red Steel have been playing good cricket and have been doing well in all departments and have not had to rely on any one player to see themselves to victory. They have a compact team that has been doing well in the tournament and barely missed out on a chance to top the tables and advance straight to the finals.

The Tallawahs have a good bowling unit, restricting teams to gettable totals in most games but have shown some amount of vulnerability at the death. Their batsmen have been failing to do the job, relying heavily on captain Chris Gayle to get the majority of runs. His opening partner, Chadwick Walton, has been among the runs as well but beyond the opening partnerships, very little has happened, especially in the middle order.

For the Tallawahs to win against a very confident Dwayne Bravo led team at home, a lot will be asked of the batsmen as the bowling unit cannot get the job done by themselves.

South African Jacques Kallis has been big at the top for the Red Steel who may feel the pressure as it is a knockout match at home. The winner will advance to Semifinal 2 and there could be some changes for both teams come tomorrow.

Both captains are very good friend have been delivering for their respective teams as Chris Gayle leads the runs for the tournament with 400 and Dwayne Bravo lead the wickets with 21. This contest is expected to be a thriller.
