England arrives for 3-test netball series

England touched down via Virgin Atlantic airline on Sunday at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay for their 3-Test series against Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls.

England comes to Jamaica with the single purpose of winning the series against Jamaica and to avenge its loss at the Commonwealth Games which was held in Glasgow last year as well as to sharpen its preparation for this year’s Netball World Cup in Australia between August 7-16.

Jamaica copped the bronze medal ahead of England at the Commonwealth Games.

England will be co-captained by Pamela Cookey and Jade Clarke while the other team members are Ama Agbeze, Sara Bayman, Eboni Beckford-Chambers, Sam Cook, Kadeen Corbin, Sasha Corbin, Rachel Dunn, Stacey Francis, Tamsin Greenway, Jo Harten, Laura Malcolm, Geva Mentor

The series will be played at the National Indoor Sports Centre in Kingston on January 10, 11 and 13 starting at 5:00 pm the first two days and 7:30 pm on the final day. The matches will be preceded by thrill matches such as Celebrities vs Masters and Corporate Giants vs Entertainers on the second and third day respectively starting at 4:00 pm while the series opening ceremony will get underway at 4:00 pm on the first day.
