Many time Manning Cup champions Kingston College travel to Campion College today in hunt of three crucial points as they bid to extend their campaign in the 2014 edition of the ISSA/LIME Manning Cup competition.

Having endured a miserable last two games in which they conceded eleven goals and scored two while having a change of coaches in between the 7-0 thrashing at St. Georges College and the 4-2 loss to Waterford, the North Street based school must win today.

STGC has already won the zone and Waterford who has completed their fixtures has 13 points, one more than KC. Anything other than a win today and the Neil Harrison coached team will say goodbye to their hopes of advancing to the second round. The turmoil that has followed the sacking of Lenny Hyde seems to have had a rippling effect on Tuesday but Harrison will hope that his charges will be able to regain their focus in their last group fixture.

Campion College lost their first ever School Challenge Quiz to KC and the return fixture at KC earlier in the season so they will take great pleasure in denying their opponents the chance of advancing. With nothing to play for, the Hope Road based school is expected to give everything they have as they look to close the season on a high.

With this being the only Manning Cup game on today, all attention will be at Campion come 3:30 this afternoon.
