Captain Horace Burrell, the President of the Jamaica Football Federation, was one of the many people who attended the launch of the fifth Flow Champions Cup at the JFF Technical Centre at the University of the West Indies yesterday.

Burrell took the opportunity to laud FLOW for their continued support of the island’s premier knock out football competition.

“It is difficult getting sponsorship these days and FLOW will be sponsoring in the amount of $25million. I lift my hat off to FLOW,” he said.

The JFF President also had a warning for all the teams participating in the competition, “I expect the highest standard of discipline to be displayed in this competition. Whatsoever you do on the field of play will affect the sponsorship whether positively or negatively. I look forward to the greatest year in this competition.”

Twenty six teams will contest the FLOW Champions Cup, the fourteen parish champions along with the twelve premier league teams. The bottom six teams of the premier league will participate from round one with the top six joining in the second round.
