Action resumes today in the CFU Under-17 qualifiers with another double header at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.

The opening game sees match one winners Guadeloupe going up against the US Virgin Islands (USVI), who were torn apart by Jamaica 19-0 on Saturday. Guadeloupe ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over the Cayman Islands on Saturday and will fancy themselves to get three points again today.

Despite dominating Cayman in the first half Guadeloupe were unable to get on the score sheet until the second half. They will be hoping that their strikers, including Ludovic Zelateur, show up with their goal scoring boots on.

The feature game sees a very confident Jamaica team going up against a Cayman team that showed glimpses of attacking intent in the latter stages of their game against Guadeloupe.

Jamaica scored nine goals in the first half and ten in the second against USVI , showing a ruthless streak that would have pleased coach Andrew Edwards, as he seeks to get his charges in the right frame of mind for tougher challenges ahead.

Donovan Dawkins had a field day against the US Virgin Islands hitting seven past Nicholas Muriel and must be looking forward to getting amongst the goals again today.

Game one begins at 4:00pm and the feature match kicks-off at 7:00pm.
