On loan Harbour View Striker,Brian Brown scored his first goal in only his second Major League Soccer (MLS) appearance for his Philadelphia Union (PU) against Sporting Kansas City (SKC), in an away game on Friday night. His goal earned the Union a come from behind 1-1 draw.

He came on as the second substitute on minute 70 and scored a diving header a minute later from his first touch, guiding in a from a left-sided cross, low and away from the bewildered goalkeeper inside the near post to equalise and gain a precious point.

The 21 year old, will be with the PU until November 2014 following his outstanding season in the Red Stripe Premier League where he was awarded the “Golden Boot” for his 18 goals.

He was later awarded the prestigious “Man of the Match” Award for his efforts.
