Two members of the Harbour View FC KSAFA Under17 Championship team for 2014, midfielders, Paul Young (Junior) of Wolmer’s Boys School and Rashawn ‘Puddie’ Mackison, of Kingston College, have been selected by former HVFC/Reggae Boyz striker now FIFA Agent, Damani Ralph, to participate in the Dale Farm Milk Cup 2014 annual tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The Global Premier Management through Damani Ralph, are in Partnership with Global Premier Soccer and will cover all expenses of travel, accommodation and meals.

The pair departed Jamaica for the tournament on Monday. They are slated to return to the island just after Independence celebrations in early August.

Clyde Jureidini of Harbour View said “We believe this will be a great opportunity for the young players to continue their development process in the game of football. It will provide them with great exposure in the game and give them the kind of challenges they need at this point in their careers.

“We are certain they will represent themselves, their parents and the club well and return better individuals for the experience. We also hope that this opportunity will spur on other members of that squad to work even harder so they too can benefit from similar opportunities.

“Harbour View is proud of what these boys have achieved so far and we are committed to playing our part in the development of football in the country,” Jureidini concluded.

Young and Mackison are expected to join up with the respective Manning Cup teams on their return to Jamaica.
