JaVA/St Thomas U-13 School Volleyball Competition results

Round 1 of th JaVA/St Thomas U-13 School Volleyball competition got on the way yesterday at Duckensfield Primary School.  The competition involved 6 schools and took a round robin format.

Lyssons Primary won all 5 of their matches beating Hayfield 15-5, 15-3; Dalvey 15-10, 15-9; Old Pero 15-7, 15-7; Golden Grove 15-11, 15-10; and Duckensfield 15-8, 15-6.

Golden Grove was next best team on the day with 4 wins, beating Dalvey 15-8, 15-7; Old Pero 15-6, 15-8; Duckensfield 15-7, 15-5; and Hayfield 15-1, 15-4.

Dalvey Primary had victories over Hayfield 15-9, 15-6, Old Pero 15-9, 15-11; and Duckensfield 15-7, 15-13.

Old Pero defeated Duckensfield 15-11, 15-13; and Hayfield 15-12;15-9.

Duckensfield had a victory over Hayfield 15-7, 15-10.

The second round robin to determine the Parish Champions will be held at Lyssons Primary on 28 November 2013 starting at 10am.

The Westmoreland leg of the JaVA competition gets on the way today with 14 schools down to compete for parish honours.
