Action resumes in the JaVA Western Region Primary & Prep Schools Volleyball League on Thursday, November 14, 2013 when the 1st Leg of the Hanover Round-Robin Final serves off at Cove Primary School at 9:00am.
Six schools in the parish are registered for the competition, namely Lucea Primary, Maryland All Age, Pell River Primary, Gurney’s Mount Primary Bethel Primary & Junior High and host Cove Primary. The 2nd Leg takes place next Thursday, (November 21, 2013) at a venue to be decided.
St. Elizabeth
Meanwhile, on Friday, (November 15, 2013) Nain Primary & Junior High takes the lead among the four teams going into St. Elizabeth’s deciding 2nd Leg Round Robin Final at Geneva Primary ahead of the hosts; Santa Cruz Primary & Junior High; and Braes River Primary that missed the 1st Leg due to an accident involving some of their players.
The top two teams from the parish will advance to the National Finals on the new date, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at The National Stadium starting at 9am.
