Yee Sing looking to grow in refereeing

Stephanie-Dale Yee Sing, one of the participants in the FIFA/MA Referees Course, now on at the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Technical Training Centre is looking to grow in her new area of competence.

Yee-Sing is the captain of the University of Technology Women’s football team and a member of the Barbican Women’s football team but also finds time to ‘run the lines’.

Speaking with Yardie Sports at the launch of the course, the soft spoken defender said, “I started officiating in January and this is my first course. I want to increase my knowledge of the game from a refereeing perspective and to grow in that area.”

She has completed her first degree in Tourism and Events Management at UTECH and is currently doing another degree in Baking Technology. “I love baking and I want to open my own store one day,” she said.

Clearly a balanced individual, she is one to watch for in the coming years.
