The former HVFC player, who was recently transferred to Waterhouse, came on late in the first half and injected some life in what was a dead encounter up to that point. Waterhouse picked up the tempo with the introduction of Campbell who dictated the pace and displayed good vision passes and dribbling skill.
The skillful midfielder showed his class on the hour mark, when he turned his defender, Dicoy Williams and fired a ferocious shot pass Harbour View helpless custodian, Devon Haughton.
Campbell, goal keeper Richard McCallum and striker Jermaine “Tuffy” Anderson, were surprisingly included in the team after arriving on Saturday from Jamaica’s 2-0 loss to the US in World Cup qualifier in the United States.
Speaking to Yardie Sports before the game, coach of Waterhouse Junior Francis, stated that “the players were released by the national coach and made available to us, as such, the team will be boosted by their prescence.”
Obviously disappointed by his team’s performance, head coach of Harbour View, Harold Thomas, rued the half chances and missed opportunities in the early exchanges of the game but also credited Waterhouse for a well fought game.
Tivoli and Waterhouse will now square off for the final of the Flow Champions Cup and the winning incentive of $1 million on October 28th at the Harbour View Mini-Stadium starting at 9pm.
