Kingston, Jamaica; Prison Oval is the new venue for the rescheduled quarter final matchup in the Flow Champions Cup, between Portmore United FC and Harbour view FC, on Thursday October 3. Despite a poor showing in the Premiere League, losing all three of their encounters, the Linval Wilson coached Portmore has been fighting the good fight in the Flow Champions Cup.

The highly anticipated match was rescheduled as a result of a water logged field at Ferdie Neita Park which rendered the facilities unsuitable for play.

The St Catherine based team came away with a confident 5-0 drubbing of KSAFA team Barbican and will bank on the experience of midfielder Damian Williams and defender Adrian Reid to take them to the final four. The stars of the east Harbour View will definitely not be pushovers, despite having an up and down early season in the premiership.

Head coach Harold Thomas believes the Flow Champions Cup knock out is the perfect competition for his team.“Knock out football is all about winning and we here at Harbour View believe in a winning mentality and culture, so I believe our players are motivated to play Portmore and I see ourselves in the semi-final come next week”, Thomas said.

Match day two quarter-final, will see the red hot Waterhouse travelling to the Juici patties Park in Clarendon to take on Sporting Central. Waterhouse will bank on Flow Champions Cup joint leading scorer Romario Campbell and national striker Jermaine “Tuffy” Anderson to lead their line. Sporting Central will feel equally confident in front of their home crowd.

The last quarter-final clash will see Montego Bay United hosting former champions Tivoli Gardens.
