Spain has a new superstar in their ranks by the name of Isco who has stepped into life at Spanish giants, Real Madrid like he has been there forever. The 21 year old star has displaced German playmaker Mesut Ozil from Carlo Ancelotti’s team and is already a fan favourite in the Santiago Bernabeau.

After an excellent summer, winning the Euro U21 championship with Spain, Isco wasted no time sorting out his future by signing for Real Madrid in a deal worth around €30m. He made a name for himself with some excellent performances for Malaga in La Liga and also in the Champions League.

Isco is a very dynamic and creative player with great skill, excellent touch, technically gifted and has the eye for the spectacular. He has the natural ability to drift into space and to get by his opponents with very little effort. For a player of his stature, he has a good scoring record and seems like a beast as he is not very easy to be pushed off the ball.

Since he moved to the Bernabeau, the 21 year old hasn’t looked back, improving all the time. He has managed to take the place of Ozil, who is regarded as the best playmaker in the world, in the Madrid starting eleven and has justified his selection ahead of the German. So far he has scored four goals while bagging an assist in five La Liga games and he has also scored in Madrid’s win over Galatasaray in the Champions League.

The young Spaniard is not affected by all the big stars in his surroundings and is working his way to being one of the best players in the world. If he manages to stay healthy for the rest of the season he will only get better and better which would improve Madrid chances of mounting a serious title challenge against fierce rivals Barcelona.
