Usain Bolt teams up with IAAF for a Better World programme

Jamaican and world Sprint sensation Usain Bolt, through his foundation will partner with track and field’s governing body, the International Association of Athletics Federations’ (IAAF) in their for a Better World programme.

The programme provides a platform for organisations to bring about social change by using the IAAF’s global reach and marketing channels.

The three time, triple world and two time triple Olympic champion expressed how happy he is in helping in the global outreach.

“I am very proud that the Usain Bolt Foundation is officially partnered with the IAAF’s ‘Athletics for a Better World. Since the foundation was formed I, along with all the staff and volunteers, have worked very hard to inspire kids to become anything that their heart desires” . Bolt said

The newly-elected IAAF President Sebastian Coe also wade in on the great move by the influential Jamaican.

“I’m thrilled that the Usain Bolt Foundation is partnering with ‘Athletics for a Better World”’ the president said.

The Usain Bolt Foundation has invested millions of dollars into various community projects in Jamaica to improve the education and health of the young people involved.
