It is the amount of points accumulated at Champs that determines who stands tall at the end of each staging of the annual ISSA Boys and Girls Championship, but there is a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with being crowned individual overall champion and also for the class in which you participate.

These individual champion boys and girls are not necessarily part of the winning teams because the honours go to the athletes who accumulate the highest number of points for individual events they participate in at the various classes.

The winners for 2015 are as follows ;

Overall Champion Boy: Michael O’Hara (27 points) – Calabar High: The captain of the ‘Lions’ was simply brilliant in winning three individual Gold medals. He won the 100m, the 200m. and the 110m hurdles battling strong headwinds to record decent times.

Overall Champion Girl: Ayesha Champagnie (30 points ) – St. Andrew Technical High: The Iron Lady of Champs 2015 won the Heptathlon Open, the Class One Javelin and Shot Put, the latter in a new record 14.27m.
